The Pearl of Africa Music Awards or PAM Awards are annual awards given to Ugandan singers. Winning the PAM Award is considered the highest form of recognition of one's achievements in the music industry. The most coveted award is Artiste of the Year Award. The winners are determined by a combination of public votes and independent judges.
