Mbu (conjunction)

that (used to report something that has been said, but its truthfulness or accuracy is doubted).
[edit] Usage of the word or phrase
Used as a conjuction to introduce a claim in reported speech. E.g. "She said mbu she loves him" (She claimed that she loves him). If one doesn't want to express skepticism about what is being reported, "nti" is used in place of "mbu".
